Chat
One persistent thread per project, aware of the project it belongs to. Not a blank box you re-explain yourself to each morning.
Persistent by project
Each project has a single ongoing thread. It does not reset between sessions, and it does not need to be told what the project is about — the project's description and whatever context you select are already available to it.
Choosing the model
Chat is multi-model. Pick the model per message or set a default for the project. Different models suit different work, and the right choice is often not the largest one.
Selecting context
You decide which blocks the thread can see. Selecting the four findings that matter produces better answers than making the whole project available, for the same reason a well-briefed colleague outperforms one handed the entire filing cabinet.
Answers worth keeping can be sent to the canvas as blocks, where they gain permanence and can be connected to the material that informed them.
